The start of the Thanksgiving Weekend was early morning fog ( see pic taken at 7:30 a.m. cor of Olive and Alameda Avenue ) Rain is expected to begin falling late Monday night, raising fears mud and ash could wash down into hillside and canyon areas hit by wildfires earlier this month. The heaviest rain is expected Tuesday and Wednesday, then again later in the week. The National Weather Service says up to two inches of rain is expected in Southern California mountain areas.
