I had dinner here with the Hilton group including my Team Leader Carmen Macias and our United Rep, Michael Burny. The dinner was hosted by Craig Banikowski Director of Hilton Travel assisted by his Travel Manager, Sean Parham -thanking us and the Hilton staff for the success of the Hilton Group that we worked together during the Olympics. Unfortunately, Christine and Pilar could not make it at this party. It was my first time at this restaurant and I was quite impressed with the design and decor - the entrance reminded me of the Chinese Mann Theater in Hollywood with oversized red doors, but the interior has soaring high cielings and handcarved timber beams, complimented by the warm saffron and plum colors surrounded by the presence of Burmese statues everywhere. For the start, we ordered some appetizers that included Ahi-tuna and salmon rolls, Indian stuff flatbread with spicy homemade ketchup sauce and some crispy sweet hot shrimp. Everyone ordered their own favorite dish and I tried the North Vietnamese Halibut which I really liked. Rock Sugar Pan Asian kitchen is located at 10250 Santa Monica Blvd., Suite 654 in Century City. Parking is available at the Century City Westfield mall underground garage that offers 3 hours for free or if you are lazy to park, valet is available at the restaurant. .
